The Yamaha reverb unit is equipped with delay, chorus, flanging, short sampling, and pitch-changing capabilities.

One of the first effect units to incorporate a MIDI interface, allowing for convenient program changes and automated control of effects. The onboard reverb and delays received praise for delivering good-quality results given their affordable price range.
The unit allows users to utilize one effect at a time, while also offering the ability to sample audio up to 500ms in length for editing and playback, a feature referred to as "freeze."

This Yamaha unit swiftly gained recognition as a classic among small studio owners and home players, maintaining its esteemed reputation well into the early 1990s.

PSU works on 220V, EU power cord attached.
