KM54 is a second addition to Neumanns line of "small microphones", first introduced in 1954. It is a tube amplified cardioid pencil microphone with an exceptionally flat frequency response.
It's rich and musical tone is the reason KM54 is widely used in classical recording, as a spot mic for strings and other acoustic instruments, or as a part of stereo setups.
The KM54 is to this day is a very highly valued and is always in demand amongst sound recording professionals.

This unit has an original N52T PSU in a dual slot chassis. New Sommer cable and proper binder locking mic mulitpin connectors.
Excellent working condition – fully serviced by Drefahl in September 2022, reskinned with special lightweight Mylar/gold diaphragm. According to Drefahl, the difference is not noticeable to originals, while lifespan is drastically extended and high-SPL damage excluded.
PSU works on 230V, EU power cord included.
US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU
locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.
Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight
forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.
Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all
