Eight-Channel Microphone Preamplifier with Discrete Design
The P8 is a high-quality, eight-channel microphone preamplifier featuring a fully discrete design. Unlike IC-based systems, its preamps are built using individual transistors, a hallmark of high-end preamplifiers that ensures exceptional sound clarity and fidelity.
Each of the eight preamps is identically designed and includes the following features:
- Analog Gain Control: Precise adjustment of preamplification levels.
- Switchable Phantom Power: Individually controlled 48V supply for condenser microphones.
- PAD Switch: Attenuates high-level signals to prevent distortion.
- Phase Inversion: Reverses signal polarity to manage phase issues.
- High-Pass Filter: Removes unwanted low frequencies for cleaner recordings.
For expanded functionality, the P8 can be fitted with an optional eight-channel ADAT converter, enabling seamless digital connectivity with an audio interface.
Designed for premium audio quality, the P8 is ideal for professional multi-channel recording sessions, delivering pristine sound and versatility in any studio environment.
