The legendary M50 was first introduced in the 1950's as an omni directional successor to the M49 microphone. It has quickly earned its rightful place in the hall of fame of microphones for its smooth frequency response in the high mids, its clarity and brilliance, and the amazing directivity of the high frequencies.

Over the years, it has become an absolute must-have microphone for recording classical music as both spot microphone for brass, woodwinds and strings, and a part of stereo setups and Decca Trees.

This Neumann M50 Omni Tube Microphone #109 is in exceptionally mint condition, including original BB 9 PSU #151, Neumann Tuchel-XLR and Tuchel-mic cables, aftermarket German made swivel mount.

Padded plastic flight case included.
