HUM Audio Devices RS-2 is world's first remote controlled, Stereo/M-S ribbon microphone with built-in discrete class -A mic preamps.
RS-2 is complete recording system with features never before found in any of top class ribbon mics. Open, larger than life sound with a lot of depth and details at the same time preserves classic ribbon sound flavour so much beloved by musicians and sound engineers.

RS-2 excels on many sound sources, covering wide range of studio recording applications including strings, grand piano, drums overhead, guitars, brass, ambience or vocals. Tracks recorded with RS-2 also blend very well with other elements in the mix.

- Transformer based passive M/S matrix
- Rotatable RS-2 mic head for fast and convenient change between L/R and M/S position
- Switchable passive Low Cut filter with three useful frequencies: 50, 80 and 120 Hz
- AIR mode – smooth, passive Pultec style high frequency boost
- DIMM mode protects speakers during mic positioning
- RS-2 Remote Controller gives access to all functions via standard 3-pin XLR cable
- All functions controlled by high class relays and very reliable C&K switches

US and EU parcels ship via UPS, ETA 1-7 working days from pickup day zero. That also applies to most locations worldwide.

All shipments are fully insured.

Bigger shipments requiring pallets or custom made crates ship to US, CA, JP, CN, AU and other outside of EU locations via DHL Air Freight, ETA is normally approx. 7-14 working days from pickup day zero.

Big shipments inside EU ship via different freight companies, recently mostly via ACE Logistics. Freight forwarders can use different courier companies for deliveries to final destinations.

Palletising and crating time can vary depending on the size of the shipment and packaging queue. We pack all our shipments with great care.
